One room in particular had a HUGE crowd. We wondered what that was all about, then realized that the crowd was to see Peepy!
It seems everyone was more interested in Peepy than this lady . . .
Feeling quite the popular gal, Peeps hopped up onto this pedestal for people to admire her . . .
(The shot would be clearer, but, um . . . we had to flee when the security guard started yelling at us. And in French, no less. I'm not exactly sure what he was saying, but I think it was, "That's a pretty Peep, but you must leave before the crowds appear again.")
So we wandered around some more and gazed at the art . . .
The next day, it was off to Versailles!!!
That King Louis XIV sure liked fancy stuff . . .
There was even a statue of Peepy in the hallway with the other legendary philosophers and scientists . . .
Later, we roamed the 100,000,004 acres of gardens . . .
And LOOKIT! We came across Marie Antoinette's "pretend" village. Get this, she had a tiny village built so that she and her friends could dress up in rustic garb and fake being commoners for fun . . .
Peepy liked the swan, but the royal fish scared her, and me.
Next Blog: Peeps was (practically) cast in a MAJOR MOTION PICTURE directed by a super famous director, and the book was written by a friend of hers. Can you guess who that author is?
