That's right! In the city where J.K. Rowling wrote HARRY POTTER(S). You might recall that she was talking to Daughter, seen above.
So then, of course we had to visit Edinburgh Castle. Behold the magnificence. Yes, Peepy is stunning, and so is the castle . . .
Edinburgh was so enchanting. We were there for the Christmas and in honor of Peepy, the whole city was lit up!
Loved the historic buildings . . .
Of course, we had to stop several times a day for snacks and shopping . . .
A tradition of great literature lives on in Edinburgh. Here's the Writer's Museum . . .
(I must admit the mannequins of Robert Burns, Walter Scott and Robert Louis Stevenson sort of creeped me out -- especially since they talked.)
