Other accolades include Washington Post Book of the Week (twice), American Library Association Notable, and a National Parenting Publications Honor for her American Girl historical novel, Good Luck, Ivy. Prior to being an author, Lisa has been a TV writer/producer, journalist, and creative director of her own marketing/design company, Magic Pencil Studios.
